Dean Greenstreet
The florist formally known as Sankofa (SAHN-koh-fah), Shelby lives in West Oak Lane with her fiancé, 8 y.o. greyhound (Cricket), + 2 mischievous orange cats (Fig + Steamboat Willie ). Using her background in abstract painting and passion for sustainable, garden-style flower arranging, her goal when designing is to create bold designs that seem to breath as if found in their natural habitat. Guided by music and history, her designs find a balance of dramatics + simplicity, edge + flexibility.
Flowers, short-lived + special, are some of the most perfect examples of abundance we have. life is short, yeah? Let the bouquets be whimsical and the good times roll. ✌🏾
